APT Approved Provider
We are an approved Association for Play Therapy (APT) provider offering play therapy trainings both online and in person. Our trainings are designed to support clinicians at all levels, providing accessible, high-quality instruction that meets APT continuing education requirements while enhancing clinical skills in play therapy practice.
Sand Therapy Trainings
The YRC Training Center provides comprehensive sand therapy trainings for mental health professionals seeking to expand their therapeutic tools. These trainings focus on both the theoretical foundations and practical application of sand therapy across diverse populations and clinical settings. Offered online and in person, our courses support skill development while meeting continuing education requirements.
EMDR Avanced Trainer
The YRC Training Center offers advanced EMDR trainings for clinicians seeking to deepen their knowledge and enhance their clinical effectiveness. These trainings build on foundational EMDR skills and focus on advanced applications, complex cases, and integrative approaches, while meeting continuing education requirements. Courses are designed to be practical, experiential, and immediately applicable to clinical practice.
EMDR Basic Training Oppruntunies
Christina Watts-Figueroa is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and EMDR Basic Training facilitator with Scaling Up EMDR, LLC. She provides high-quality EMDR Basic Trainings for mental health professionals seeking to become trained in EMDR therapy. Trainings can be booked directly through the Scaling Up EMDR website.
EMDR Basic Training Requirements
EMDR Basic Training is designed for licensed mental health professionals and qualifying pre-licensed clinicians. The training includes completion of both Part 1 and Part 2 instruction, required consultation hours, and supervised practice to ensure ethical and competent application of EMDR therapy in clinical settings. Participants must meet EMDRIA eligibility criteria and professional licensure or supervision requirements prior to enrollment.

Christina Watts-Figueroa is an EMDR Approved Consultant. She provides individual and group consultation for those who have completed their EMDR Basic training. Christina specializes in EMDR with children and adults, military/veterans, grief & loss, trauma, family violence, and attachment issues. Christina offers individual EMDR consultation toward certification and to those who do not wish to certify. Fees: $150 per hour
Maria Dudley, LPC-S, RPT is a consultant in training under the supervision of Christina Watts-Figueroa and is currently accepting new consultees. Her rate is $85 per hour. You can complete up to 15 hours with Maria and the other five with Christina.
Registered Play Therapy Supervision
Christina Watts-Figueroa is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. She provides individual consultation and group consultation for those who are seeking the RPT credential through the Association for Play Therapy. Christina specializes in EMDR with children and adults, military/veterans, grief & loss, trauma, family violence, and attachment issues.
Fees: $125 per hour
